MEDIEVAL CASTLE OF ULLDECONA

Overlooking the hill, Ulldecona castle was built on the ancient Arab fortress built between the th and th centuries. Ramon Berenguer IV conquered the fortress in 1148 before making a donation to the order of the Hospital, which gave him a characteristic appearance, with his square tower and his round tower, restored and well visible today. Next to the church is the church of Santa Maria dels Àngels. The view of the surroundings is worth the trip.
