Hotel with well kept rooms and good food service in Beget.
The existence of this hostel had already been mentioned in 1586 under the name Hostal de Dalt, and it continues to be run by the same family today. This very old stone house overlooking the small stream of the ancient Beget offers a good catering service (with stews, chicken with prunes or duck with pears) and simple, well-kept double and family rooms. A small private garden is available for guests of the hostel. A most soothing place with a warm welcome.

Super friendly service with amazing food. A real find and a great get away or stop on the GR11 route. Best meal of my trip!

We arrived late at the hostel. It was all shut but overheard people speaking in the kitchen. Someone came out to give us a key for their last available room saying they could do the paperwork at dinner. We had dinner. The person who looks after the check-ins wasn't there. They suggested they could deal with this in the morning. We stayed at the hostel and ate dinner. When we turned out for breakfast next morning, they had no knowledge of who we were and we hadn't paid anything. Incredible trust. Love it. And the place and food were good too. If you have time, stroll on one of the trekking tracks.
