A small natural area with dense and lush vegetation offering a soothing walk

The wood of the Estunes is a small natural space with dense and lush vegetation - mainly powerful oaks - emblematic of the municipality of Porqueres. The specificity of the site lies in the abundance of deep fissures, due to small earthquakes, in the local rock blocks which make up the soil of the surrounding areas of Banyoles: travertine, a characteristic material found near the karst laces. The small bois has an enchanted forest atmosphere and invites to walk. It is probably not for nothing that the eau of water, the Goges, proliferate here. A relaxing walk.
