Hotel, with beautiful garden, offering charming rooms and hearty breakfast in a remarkable setting in Les Planes.

Modernist building from 1906 classified as a property of heritage interest and recognised since 2007 by the Generalitat of Catalonia as a Monumental Hotel. It has 6 double rooms and a family suite, the latter with a 5-metre high barrel vaulted ceiling and a sumptuous window with a span of almost 4 metres overlooking the large garden and the city. All rooms are unique and stylish, with modern bathrooms and Art Nouveau style furniture, for a journey of the senses. A rich buffet breakfast is served.

Molt tranquil, els detalls molt ben cuidats. A destacar la cuina, tot molt bo i casolà! I tant el Lluís com la Sophie molt propers!

L'hotel Can Garay és una casa modernista decorada amb gust, conservant l'essència de l'època i amb totes les comoditats. Les habitacions són precioses, amb grans finestrals o balcó i l'ambient respira tranquil·litat. La Sophie i el Lluís són uns amfitrions molt atents.
La zona permet tant excursions com visites culturals ja que Can Garay està situat en una lloc de fàcil accés a diferents indrets entranyables.

esta puede ser de las reseñas más difíciles de explicar, tenemos que partir de un hotel de 2 estrellas, por lo que, lo que recibiremos estará por encima de estas estrellas, pero no podemos esperar más.
No puedo decir que es un Hotel, ni un airbdb, en realidad, lo he vivido como si me hubieran invitado a pasar el fin de semana a su casa, modernista, acogedora, con una cocina muy por encima de las expectativas, tienen buenos vinos, y donde podrás disfrutar de él será en su jardín, leyendo un libro o relajándote en cualquiera de los espacios que dispone.
lo regentan Lluís i sophie, ella, de puro origen inglés, seria y altamente formal, Lluís, muy sociable y con ganas de conocer a todo aquel que viene a su casa, nos quedamos ambos tomando chupitos y si no es por mí... podríamos haber estado toda la noche... por tanto BRUTAL ;-)

We stayed at Can Garay for 2 nights whilst attending a family wedding nearby. Sophie, our host, couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was a superb continental/catalan bread, croissants & local meat/cheeses with plenty of juice and coffee.
We had an evening meal on the first night, 3 delicious courses without being overfaced by too much food.
Normally we would be equipped with our walking shoes etc, but unfortunately we had no time in this short visit, so hopefully we will return for a longer stay ????
