PEDRA TOSCA PARK
This carefully preserved park has received several awards and continues to attract visitors.
Pedra Tosca Park has been carefully preserved for 150 years. It consists of a maze of paths framed by drystone walls demarcating former agricultural plots, embedded in an ancient Croscat volcanic lava flow. Here and there, small stone mounds can be seen, sheltering a small space where peasants used to rest in the blazing sun. Today, it has been redesigned as a walking area, and wide beds of multicolored flowers and aromatic or medicinal herbs, planted under various varieties of trees, brighten up the landscape in spring, adding a cheerful note to this bucolic landscape. The park has won several awards and continues to attract visitors. Tours can be taken on the back of a Catalan donkey.
