CAN CACIQUES INTERPRETATION CENTRE
Center was designed for the study, preservation and promotion of archaeological and ethnological heritage of the village
The vocation of this interpretation centre - housed in two buildings, the Can Bosses building dating from 1561 flanked by a medieval tower and a brand new hall, from the old town of Llagostera - is the study, preservation and promotion of the archaeological and ethnological heritage of the village. The first room hosts a permanent exhibition on the fortified city and its history: prehistoric relics from the lower Paleolithic to the Ibero-Roman era and everyday objects of an ancient, peasant and commercial Llagostera. The second room offers various temporary exhibitions. You can also watch a film, in French, about the occupation of the region and the different stages of construction of the village. Informative and very well presented.
