CHURCH SANT LLORENÇ D'ADRI
A Romanesque church with a nave and a semi-circular apse decorated
The present church is Romanesque, dating from the 12th century. Destroyed by earthquakes in the 15th century, it was rebuilt in several stages up to the 18th century. The original Romanesque building is a one-nave temple with a decorated semicircular apse. On the west façade is the entrance door surmounted by two vaults supported by two columns with magnificent capitals carved with human heads, birds and geometric motifs. Subsequent renovations gave the church its current appearance: the nave was raised and flanked by side chapels, and the square bell tower was added, with its pyramidal roof.
