The Cerdanya airfield also hosts a company of experienced professionals - since 1992 - offering balloon tours. The activity takes place in the early morning, the team prepares the gear and takes stock of the weather and the instructions around a good coffee. The Cerdanya aerodrome derives its legitimacy from its very location, in the heart of the Cerdanya plain. Protected from the humid air coming from the north and west, it enjoys a particularly beneficial microclimate and is the headquarters of the Barcelona aeroclub. It is home to gliders and ultra-light aircraft and has one of the largest fleets in Spain. Here you can take courses or come and try your hand at gliding, an amazing activity in the setting that the region has to offer. The airfield also has a café-restaurant.
