Park with a great diversity of marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

Created in 1998, it includes the Cap de Creus peninsula and the Rodes mountain range. With the distinction of being the first maritime and terrestrial park in Catalonia, it covers an area of 13,886 hectares, of which 10,813 hectares correspond to the terrestrial part and 3,073 hectares to the maritime part, and culminates at 670 meters (Sant Salvador de Verdera). The area boasts a wide variety of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. With endemic fauna and vegetation and unique geological formations. In terms of history, it is also home to impressive architectural features dating from prehistoric to medieval times. These include the Dolmen de la Croix de Cobertella, the largest in Catalonia, and the Romanesque Benedictine monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
