Discover this castle, one of the oldest and most imposing fortifications in the Ripollès region
Sitting atop a hill, it is one of the oldest (the first mention of the castle dates back to 1070) and most imposing fortifications in the Ripollès comarca. Although only ruins remain today, it's still easy to make out the layout of the old building: the central nave and chapel are the most easily identifiable, as are two defensive towers. The panorama of the valley from the castle alone is well worth the walk.
