MAE'S PLACE

This is an American specialty that these restaurants have for breakfast or dinner. Mae will serve you only the traditional: eggs as you like them (omelette, fried, fried, fried, Bénédicte or sandwich...), pancakes, French toast, waffles (Belgian waffle). A little later in the morning, the more invigorating dishes arrive in force: burgers and sandwiches as thick as the phone book. Cheap and efficient. The locals know the place and often meet there for the weekend brunch.
