Located at an altitude of 3,300 metres, the Rama Valley is renowned for its wild flowers, pine, oak, cedar, juniper and cedar forests, and its rare medicinal plants, which grow abundantly.

Visitors can admire its lake, surrounded by mountains, including Nanga Parbat, the "killer mountain" that lights up when the sun sets.

The valley is home to snow leopards, musk deer and ibex.

La vallée et le lac !
Cet endroit est à découvrir lorsqu'on est dans la région d'Astore; après être monté en voiture jusqu'au PTDC motel, on peut atteindre en marchant tranquillement environ 2h le lac Rama. C'est magnifique avec la vue sur le Nanga Parbat !
Enfin la descente depuis le lac jusqu'à Astore vous offre de joiles vues sur la vallée, je recommande !
