Located at 2 600 metres above sea level, the Astore Valley is one of the six districts of Gilgit-Baltistan province. It stretches over approximately 120 kilometres and divides into a hundred peaceful villages surrounded by green pastures, wild forests and fruit trees. It is a paradise for trekkeurs, amateur or experienced, which is best to visit between May and August.Astore is a small typical mountain village, revolts by forests and surrounded by the snow-covered peaks. His bazaar is colorful and full of life.
