PRETOMA ASSOCIATION

The Pretoma association, committed to the preservation of turtles, has a base on Playa San Miguel. In addition to its program of prevention and protection of olive ridley turtles, night hikes are organized at the time of the laying of eggs (from July to November; peak in October) and the release of baby turtles on the beach in the afternoons of December.
