From Nevers to Marzy, the Loire offers picturesque natural and preserved landscapes that constitute a true ecological jewel. Thus, the Ver-Vert trail is the main thread of a 3.5 km walk along the banks: laid out in respect of its natural character and guided by the Ver-Vert parrot, the walker is informed about the history of the river, its birth, its economic role and its overflows; about the fauna and flora that populate the banks of the Loire; about traditional activities linked to the river such as inland waterway transport.
