Located in the heart of the garden of the former cloister of Notre-Dame Abbey, this superb museum boasts 13 rooms, enabling visitors to explore the entire history of earthenware through a rich collection of 2,500 pieces, including 1,950 in Nevers earthenware, dating from the end of the 16th century to the dawn of the 20th. One room is devoted to enamelled glass, known as "Nevers" spun glass. This collection is absolutely unique in Europe, providing an insight into this highly prized art form of the 17th and 18th centuries.
