Media Nevers

The first regional news media in the Nièvre, Le Journal du Centre was created in September 1944, succeeding the underground newspaper La Nièvre Libre, created during the German occupation. Belonging to the same press group (Centre France), it was produced in Auxerre on the presses of L'Yonne Républicaine. For its 85,000 daily readers, it reports the news of the Nivernais region, but also offers national information. It is also available in digital version and on social networks.
