40 minutes from La Paz, it is a small fishing village with a long bay and several white sandy beaches where it is possible to camp. From November to March, the strong winds make it a well-known destination for kitesurfing. It is also possible to practice this sport further south, in the larger village of Los Barriles (also known for its sport fishing). For those who appreciate its calmness and would like to spend the night there in some comfort, Ventana also has a few hotels spread around its main street.
