25 km from La Paz, just before the beach of Tecolote, is this magnificent salt water lagoon which hosts eight small bays with turquoise and crystal clear waters. Because of the shallow waters, you can walk for hundreds of meters in this turquoise sea whose temperature rarely goes below 30°C. The place is beautiful and untouched by infrastructure. At best, there are a few palapas to shelter from the sun and a hut that sells some food and rents kayaks.
