Located between Guerrero Negro and Ensenada, many travelers stop here for the night. There are some nice visits to make in the surroundings: a few kilometers north, the landscape is formed by large rounded stones superimposed on top of each other, suitable for beautiful walks. You will find a first painting site 10 minutes from the village (km 176). Even further north, 45 minutes away, at the place called El Progreso, a detour takes you to the ruins of the first Franciscan mission on the peninsula (San Francisco Velicata); continue about 1 km further and other rock paintings are visible along the rock face.
