Things to see and do Bahawalpur

Lal Suhanra National Park is one of the largest in South Asia. This large area, divided between desert areas, forests and water, was transformed into a national park in 1972, notably to protect the endangered species of black hippotragues (antelopes). They are now in a large enclosure but the project is to reintroduce them into their original habitat. The park is home to important wildlife, increasingly threatened by a lack of resources and personnel. You can easily spend a day strolling through the landscaped paths and observe the animals, sometimes in cages, sometimes in the wild. The more adventurous can take a swim in the dirty pool (100 Rp), which can even be rented by the day (10 000 Rp).
