HOUSE OF MANANNAN

Right in the middle of the port, this museum interactively retraces the history of the Isle of Man, through its Celtic, Viking and maritime past. Manannan Mac Lir is the god of the sea in Celtic mythology. Many videos, soundtracks and reconstructions with the first Christians, a drakkar or fishermen. At the end, an exhibition recounts the adventure of the Steam Packet Company. Allow two hours by taking your time. Good level of English preferable....
