Lac de Pannecière, 7.5 km long, is the largest lake in the Morvan Regional Nature Park

Lac de Pannecière is the largest lake in the Morvan Regional Nature Park (520 ha). With a length of 7.5 km, it extends over 4 communes: Chaumard, Corancy, Montigny-en-Morvan and Ouroux-en-Morvan. Construction of the dam began in 1939, and was completed ten years later. Built on Morvan granite, the dam is 49 m high and 352 m long. The lake is particularly popular with anglers, but also with outdoor enthusiasts, with 27 km of hiking trails.

Impressionnant barrage
La promenade sur le barrage est impressionnante. Ensuite au bout du barrage il y a un sentier facile d'accès qui conduit à la reconstruction du barrage en modèle réduit.
