PORT RIVER DOLPHIN TRAIL
This tour offers a unique opportunity to observe dolphins in their natural habitat. Around twenty of them live permanently in the Port River and Barker Inlet. The trail, about 5.5 km long, includes six observation points equipped with informative panels detailing the local ecosystem and dolphin behavior. Although the trail is accessible on foot, a car is recommended for travel between certain points, notably Garden Island and North Haven, located on either side of the river. Kayak excursions are also available.
