On the way to Varzy, stop off at La Halte de Campagne. You'll be sure to find a welcoming and generous table where the flavours of yesteryear take pride of place. There's no fuss here: everything is homemade by Jean-Marie and Ombeline, and it's a real treat! Don't hesitate to try the ambon à la chablisienne, the assiette de cochonnailles, the blanquette de veau or one of the house specialties: calf's head with gribiche sauce. We just love it!
