We had a wonderful stay at the Darmouth House, starting with a note in the morning of our arrival to tell us that they could accommodate our early arrival request, followed by a warm welcome by Gary. The room was beautiful and in the front of the house in the second floor as requested. Breakfasts were delicious and both Milena and Gary were very attentive to any needs that we had. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and we will be back!!

Lovely staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast! We stopped here for an overnight stay, on our way to Buffalo NY to see a play. Milena and Gary were fabulous hosts. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The accommodations are clean and the decor is a beautiful victorian style. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have stayed at the Dartmouth House twice now and both times have been great! Finding the location was easy, onsite parking is always a big plus for us, the accommodations were fantastic and homey. Breakfast was great both times we stayed there as well!
The location of the BnB is great as well. Nice walking distance from some local restaurants!
I would recommend for anyone who looking for a little staycation or passing through and needs a great place to spend the night or a couple of days!

A lovely place to spend a staycation night in Rochester, we've always looked for someplace cute and well located for just that purpose and are glad to have now found it!

I recently booked a stay at Dartmouth House for my boss and co-worker traveling for business. The booking process was quick and easy and they have nice pictures of the rooms available. They were also easy to work with when we needed to adjust the stay dates.
My team had nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. They said Gary made the most wonderful breakfast, the rooms were adorable, the location was perfect with many spots easy to walk to close by. He also accommodated her gluten allergy which is always wonderful to see.
Overall would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a lovely place to stay in this area.

Excellent location in walking distance to great restaurants. B & B was quiet, gorgeously decorated, and comfortable. Our room was huge, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Would definitely book again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dartmouth house. Every aspect about our stay was easeful, relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable and we highly recommend for anyone in the Rochester area. Gary was a wonderful host, breakfast was delicious, conversation was very friendly and courteous, thank you again for a wonderful stay!

In terms of atmosphere, the place feels like home. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Furnished with more than we needed.
Breakfast was a treat. Crepes one morning, omelets the next. Great coffee, something that I don't take for granted.
The main draw, however, is Gray and Milena. Friendly, personable and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dartmouth House. The inn is so clean and beautifully restored. Breakfasts were delicious and Gary and Melina go out of their way to make you comfortable. We love the neighborhood and walking to all the restaurants on Park. It felt very safe being out for long walks.

My stay at Dartmouth House was nothing short of exceptional. Gary and Milena are wonderful hosts who genuinely care about their guests' well-being. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Their empathy and kindness, especially when some of us weren't feeling well, was greatly appreciated. The house's location in Rochester is ideal for exploring the city. Definitely the place to stay for a personalized experience with a touch of luxury. Looking forward to my next visit!

What a lovely gem of a b&b in our hometown of Rochester. My husband and I decided to do a staycation for our anniversary and, after reviewing our options and reading the reviews here, we chose Dartmouth and the Hemlock Room. The house is a beautiful old home. Our bed was very soft and comfortable and we soaked in the deep claw-foot tub both the evening we arrived and the morning after. Everything was immaculately clean. We also loved the gorgeous dining area; we had delicious crepes (thank you for the vegetarian options!) and homemade muffins for breakfast. The innkeepers were great and came out to talk with us while we had breakfast. Milena was especially responsive and even made it possible for us to check in early if we needed. It's within walking distance to Park Ave and lots of adorable restaurants (we recommend Roux and Verns!). I will be recommending this place to everyone.

Gary and Melina(?) were both very friendly, courteous and personable. To start with: the room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well appointed. Breakfast was freshly prepared, homemade and delicious. All together it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back soon!!

Even at breakfast, the hosts were just the right amount of friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Of course, the wildcards here are the other guests. Just use your typical coping techniques and you'll be fine.
As far as the rest of the stay, it was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfasts were great. Location is ideal.
This is a great B&B run by great hosts. Highly recommended.
