Half way between Louisville and Nashville, Bowling Green, the third city of the state with just over 58,000 inhabitants, is the seat of Warren County. Beyond its university status, Bowling Green is also a destination for car lovers. Its main attraction is the National Corvette Museum and the assembly plant of the mythical model (which, unfortunately, no longer visits). It also hosts various races organized throughout the year on the slopes of the NCM Motorsports Park and during the Beech Bend Races period from May to September. The city has a cute downtown town around Fountain Square Park's main square. It also houses an interesting railway museum and the Lost River Cave cave.
