Travel Guide Deal'S Gap

Treat's Gap isn't exactly a city but the benchmark for all riders and experienced riders near the famous Tail of the Dragon which starts here on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee. The place really only exists since 2000, the opening date of Ron Johnson's boutique - a pure and hard business that trades accessories and gadgets - dedicated to the legendary portion of the road that stretches in Tennessee over 11 miles (18 km) and 318 turns. Treat's Gap has only 6 inhabitants to date. There are several accommodations, a restaurant, a petrol station and two shops. It must be said that there was a crowd on the weekend and in the beautiful days. Note that Treat's Gap is also on the route of the Moonshiner 28, another very popular tourist route.
