The headquarters of Graham county, Robbinsville is a small town of about 2 000 people who owe its success to a magnificent natural environment, with many lakes and rivers, and to the presence of several very popular tourist routes (including Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon and Moonshiner 28). There is also the presence of gigantic trees in the nearby Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. The accommodations, often stormed by bikers on the weekend, are numerous in the region. Every year, on July 4 th, the Graham County Heritage Festival takes place. Another important celebration is the Graham County Rescue Squad's annual Ramp Fest, the last weekend in April.
