Founded in 1428, the superb Bich Dông pagoda, set on a mountainside, was used as a backdrop for certain scenes in the film .

The Bich Dông pagoda, or Jade pagoda, is located on the slopes of Ngu Nhac mountain. It was founded in 1428 by the later Lê dynasty. The entrance is sublime, set amidst bodies of water filled with lotus flowers. The sanctuary comprises three pavilions on different levels, one of which, dating from the 18thcentury , is located in a grotto. The sanctuary on the top level is dedicated to the goddess of mercy Quan Âm (Guanyin). This sumptuous site served as the backdrop for certain scenes in Régis Wargnier's film Indochine.

la grotte porte bien son nom, c'est vraiment une perle pour son originalité et la beauté du site. C'est un peu plus fatigant que le circuit à faire en bateau mais ca vaut le cout

Accès assez facile en vélo ou scooter depuis tam coc,attention à l'arrivée on vous fait croire que c'est payant ou on vous oblige a "garer" votre véhicule dans leur parking...En tout cas une bien belle visite si vous êtes dans le coin...
