These gardens were designed by the Mughal emperors who enjoyed the region in summer. The three most beautiful are Nishat Bagh, Shalamar and Cheshmashahi. They have fountains, terraces and flower mats. From the Nishat Bagh garden you have a beautiful view over the lake. See also: the botanical garden and the largest tulip garden in Asia.
