MOGUL GARDENS
Gardens designed by Mughal emperors, including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar and Cheshmashahi with fountains, lawns and flowers.
These gardens were designed by the Mughal emperors, who enjoyed the region in summer. The three most beautiful are Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. They are home to ancient structures, fountains, terraced lawns, flower carpets and, above all, a fascinating history. The Nishat Garden offers a splendid panorama of the lake, while the Shalimar Garden is home to well-preserved historic buildings. The Tulip Garden, the largest in Asia dedicated to this flower, is especially worth a visit during the flowering season.
