Ecological gîte on the heights of Lapoutroie with an exceptional view of the Black Forest
Nestled on the heights of Lapoutroie, this eco-friendly cottage, labelled Panda (Gîtes de France), is set in a farmhouse dating from 1814 surrounded by meadows dotted with century-old cherry trees. The view, exceptional, overlooks the Black Forest, the Tour du Faudé and the Vallon de la Goutte. Everything here is designed to stay in total respect of the environment: the boiler is powered by wood pellets and the domestic hot water is produced by solar panels. The site is also a refuge for birds that find food here in winter. There are two possibilities: the cottage formula or the guest room. In the second case, breakfast is included, made from good homemade products: honey from Philippe Girardin's apiary, apple juice, jams, bread, pastries... Decorated with sobriety with old photos of Lapoutroie, the cottage can accommodate up to five people. In addition to a private terrace, it has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room, a lounge area and two bedrooms. You will appreciate not only the setting but also and above all the owners of the property who will be happy to advise you on sports and other sightseeing tours. Agnès and Philippe Girardin provide you with binoculars, hiking trail maps, magazines and nature games. A real little Vosges paradise that can only be won by reservation!
