Waulsort is one of the oldest tourist towns in the country. At the beginning of the 20th century, the rich bourgeoisie built typical villas facing the Meuse. Waulsort enchants with its cobbled streets, its Romanesque church, its cliffs or its water crossing. The water crossing was created to allow the inhabitants of Falmignoul to take the train to Dinant. The crossing of the Meuse by ferry is free, on foot or by bike. The ferryman's house is a bar that serves special beers, cheese and cold cuts. A nice couple has taken over the business (small restaurant).
