L'ENJAMBEE

In the past, walking from the city center of Namur to Jambes was not an easy task. There was the bridge of Jambes if you came down from the Citadel. There was also the bridge of the Ardennes, off-center and less pleasant for pedestrians. Since 2020, the Enjambée is the squaring of the circle if you are a fan of soft mobility. An almost natural extension of the Rue du Pont, this new footbridge with a contemporary design allows access to the shopping street of Jambes in a few minutes on foot. It is 184 m long and spans the Meuse over a width of 100 m.
