BAR DU MARCHÉ

Bordering the Place du Marché-aux-Légumes, which the people of Namur refer to much more often as the Place du Vieux, the Bar du Marché has many attractions. Quieter than many neighbouring establishments where only the party counts, the BdM has made a specialty of cocktails (there are many) and gins (they are excellent) and, as a result, organizes Ginto evenings on Thursday (3 + 1 free). The Cheese & Wine menu is more relaxed, but doesn't straighten the moustache, but it does the job. Not forgetting the terrace for those who want to see the world go by.
