LE GRAND MANÈGE

Since 2021, the Grand Manège has been home to the Namur Conservatory, the Center for Vocal Art and Early Music and the promising Namur Concert Hall, directed by J.-M. Marchal. Projected in 2013, the result lives up to expectations. This hall with its already praised acoustics is intended to welcome prestigious ensembles. Designed for classical music, this new 800-seat venue is sublimated by early music (choral singing, baroque opera...) which requires a slower reverberation time. The light, identical to that of the day, is really well looked after.
