AU VIEUX QUARTIER

Founded almost half a century ago, the Au Vieux Quartier bookstore is without a doubt one of the most authentic bookstores we've ever been to. Everything seems absolutely original, and chic to boot! Its location in the heart of Namur's old pedestrian precinct is no doubt a factor in this feeling. The best themes? Regionalism, wars (1st and^2nd World Wars, Napoleonic wars...), travel, religions, freemasonry... More surprisingly, there are interesting old engravings of beautiful workmanship.
