Abbey Notre-Dame de Vivier in Marche-les-Dames, classified as an exceptional heritage of Wallonia

A listed Cistercian monastery, Notre-Dame du Vivier Abbey has long been in lethargy. The conventual complex was bought in 2018 by the Bouvier brothers (Les Tanneurs, L'Espièglerie). They opened the place to tourism despite the ongoing work that will bring the site back to life after an identical restoration. This opening allows, among other things, to explain the work of the various trades.

The abbey Notre-Dame du Vivier is classified as an exceptional heritage of Wallonia. Unesco is also interested in the site.
