A Leffe museum retracing the history of the abbey and the Prémontrés order, revealing the history of the Leffe stream

A (small) Leffe museum is located in the Charreau des Capucins, just a missal away from the abbey in Dinant. It recounts the history of the abbey founded in the 12th century and of the Prémontrés order. It reveals the history of the stream of Leffe which borders the monastery (on the other side of the river) and allows you to understand the process of making beer. You can also try to discover the secrets and aromas of the beer. A tasting session of course closes the visit. But here, as at Maredsous Abbey, the beer is not brewed...

Quasiment en face de la citadelle, avec des vidéos explicatives de l'histoire de la bière, sa qualité, ses ingrédients, ses qualités et différentes activités ludiques. Je recommande.

Franchement déçu car le côté interactif est proposé via des panneaux visuels et des vidéos mais qui ne marchent pas forcément bien...
'est vite visité, on apprendre certaines choses mais au final assez peu...
