ROMAN TOWER JUPITER AND NEPTUNE
A museum including a piece of ramparts and the Neptune tower named after its bas-relief in Arlon
In the 3rd century, our Gallo-Roman ancestors built a stone rampart around the Saint-Donat mound. This enormous rampart flanked by circular towers was some 870 meters long. The museum includes a section of the ramparts and the Neptune tower, named after its bas-relief. You can also see the Jupiter Tower from the same enclosure. Both towers have been listed since 2012 for their rare and exceptional status in Wallonia.
