A museum to discover the life of the bargemen and the barge industry through a permanent exhibition in Saint-Jean-de-Losne.

Housed in a 15th century house, one of the oldest houses in the town, the Musée de la Batellerie invites you to discover the life of the bargemen and the inland waterway industry through a permanent exhibition that is both entertaining and highly documented. Old photos, models of boats and locks, not forgetting this superb diving boat that looks like something out of Tintin's adventures. We owe to the Aqua association the renovation of the last wooden barge in France.

Visite d'un lieu incontournable pour connaître l'histoire de notre patrimoine. En ce qui concerne les canneau. Visite faite par une très jolie et gentille demoiselle qui nous a parfaitement bien expliqué tout de A a z et dans les moindre details avec une petit touche d'humour ce qui s'est passée.

N'hésitez pas à y faire un tour ça vaut le coup

A Pontailler sur Saône, un bel endroit pour découvrir les embarcations, leur modes et outil de fabrication, ainsi que canaux (surtout de Bourgogne), les differents types d'écluses etc ...

Tenu par une association de bénévoles, le musée est admirable. La guide ancienne marinière est sincère et émouvante dans ses propos vécus. A voir si vous passer à Saint Jean de Los n'est.
