Pakawi Park is a zoological park located in Balen. It was opened in 1976 and covers an area of 12 hectares. The park is home to over 200 animal species, ranging from felines and primates to birds and reptiles. During the summer season, nocturnes are also organized, closing at 11pm. Pakawi Park also offers special activities for children, as well as a restaurant and picnic areas for refreshments.

Alors oui, si on aime les félins, il y a de quoi s'en prendre plein la vue...mais la vue d'animaux tellement tristes, obèses, voire QUI ATTENDENT LA MORT! Il y a des animaux qui ont de plus grands espaces vitaux que d'autres et le parc en soi est bien fait mais que c'est triste de voir de majestueux animaux qui devraient courir dans la nature, se dégrader et n'être plus que l'ombre de soi-même dû à l'enfermement :(
