Museum part of ModeNatie with MoMu, the fashion session of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Flemish Fashion Institute
The museum is part of the ModeNatie, a large complex dedicated to fashion that includes the MoMu, the fashion session of the Academy of Fine Arts that receives students from all over the world, and the Flemish Fashion Institute, whose role is to promote Antwerp and Flemish fashion worldwide. Renovated for a few years, it reopened in 2021 with a permanent collection and two temporary exhibition rooms. The MoMu's library houses more than 15,000 books, catalogs, magazines and documentation on fashion, designers and textile art.

Owner's Message
In 2002, MoMu presented its first exhibition in the historic ModeNatie building on the Nationalestraat. Since then, MoMu has presented two temporary exhibitions each year. Smaller exhibitions and installations are presented in the first floor gallery.
The exhibitions at MoMu are characterized by their immersive scenography. As a visitor, you do not only see the objects on display, you are also immersed in the world of the designer or theme. The exhibition space is completely transformed for each exhibition, making each visit a unique experience.

De plus, les expositions étaient surtout remplies de mode abstraite, il y avait peu de variété.
Une réceptionniste m'a accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse.
Le design du bâtiment est très moderne et agréable, les casiers sont gratuits, les toilettes sont propres, le café et la boutique de produits dérivés sont très bien.
J'ai vu deux expositions, l'une permanente et l'autre temporaire. Les deux valent la peine d'être vues. L'exposition n'est pas très grande, ce qui fait qu'on ne ressent pas la fatigue du musée. J'ai passé un agréable moment.
