25 km north of Antwerp. The heather begins on the left 5 km from the intersection, hidden by a small wood. It is a natural reserve of 1 000 hectares, a wonderful landscape of preserved sandy barrens. Wind-dug ponds alternate with sand outcrops. Lande is bordered by pine woods, sheep graze there and are responsible for preventing natural reforestation of the landscape. The heather is everywhere, in bloom in August and September. Marked paths allow exploration after an initial identification of the top of the observation tower installed at the entry of the domain.

A visiter absolument par tous par temps sec (pas d'abris sur les parcours) mais même avec un ciel gris c'est un magnifique endroit!
Centre d'accueil avec toilettes gratuites, carte des parcours en vente à 2€, petit musée gratuit sur la BD + expériences natures pour les enfants via parcours didactiques et animaux empaillés.
