Le Médiéval is above all a restaurant held by Franck and Marie Wittmann. The chef, Frank, is not a beginner. Trained at the Bernard-Loiseau hotel school of Semur-en-Auxois, it has been awarded by the Clos Napoléon in Fixin and at Auberge Vittellienne in Vitteaux. It is in an authentic environment that it offers traditional and very neat cuisine. In addition to the very good table, the hotel also offers a very nice selection of wines from the Burgundian region in its cellar. All the wines of the restaurant are here, such as the Volnay Premier Cru and the Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru. Franck selected in Yonne no less than 7 Grands Crus of Chablis. Bottles are at wine cellar prices and tastings can be arranged on site.

Une agape pour l apéro, un amuse bouche, une joue de porc extraordinaire un dos de cabillaud parfait fromage bien et une pavlova qui n a qu un défaut celui d être trop petite.
Nous reviendrons pour le menu dégustation a 68€. Le menu intermédiaire me fait moins envie.
