Domaine Pierre Weber in Eguisheim: biodynamic wines without sulfites, macerations, floral and fruity Riesling with mineral notes.
The son of the late oenologist Jacques Weber, Pierre set up his own winery three years ago after travelling the world (Southeast Asia, the Silk Road and Oceania) and training in viticulture in Rouffach. Concerned about preserving the environment, he opted for biodynamic viticulture for his 3 hectares of vines located in the Eichberg, Hohrain and Wasserfall districts. He produces "natural" wines with no added sulfites, and uses pellicular maceration to obtain dry still wines.
