Museum dedicated to the history of orphanages in a former home for destitute women, founded by Hendrik Suderman.
In 1353, Hendrik Suderman built a house here for destitute women. Two centuries later, a school for poor girls was opened here, supported by donations, both in money and works of art. The works remained and the house was turned into a museum. It is devoted to the history of orphanages and its collection includes objects from daily life, but also paintings, furniture (from the 15th to the 18th century), Antwerp earthenware, etc
