Design center near the central station, formerly a place of prostitution, with exhibition hall, store, café, library

Until 1999, this place was known as a high place for prostitution, with many dilapidated buildings and the famous shop windows displaying prostitutes, as in anyred light district in Belgium and the Netherlands. In order to "clean up" the district, it was decided, among other things, to build this Design Centre on the site of eight former slums. It includes an exhibition room, a shop, a café, a library, offices and meeting rooms. It is very close to Antwerp Central Station.
