AQUATOPIA

Aquatopia was a popular educational attraction located in the center of Antwerp. It included a series of aquariums as well as reconstructions of other marine habitats such as swamps, rainforests, river deltas and coral reefs. Aquatopia also featured special exhibits on sharks, the nautilus and the mysteries of the deep. This multi-storey attraction was located on Koningin Astridplein, opposite Antwerp-Central station. It was equipped with 1,000,000 liters of water. It's important to note that although the entrance to Antwerp Zoo was also located nearby, the two attractions were not affiliated.
