ANTWERP TAXI

Taxi and VTC

Uber has recently set up shop in Antwerp, but good old-fashioned cabs still handle the majority of metered journeys. You'll find cab ranks at Sint-Pieters station, Dampoort station, near Korenmarkt and at Woodrow Wilsonplein. Hotel receptions are used to this and can take care of it for you.

METRO, BUS, TRAM DE LIJN

Public transport

This is the Flemish public transport company. Bus, metro and streetcar passes can be purchased in bookshops or from ticket machines at most stops. De Lijn also links Antwerp to many Flemish cities. Most of these buses leave from the central station, the Franklin Rooseveltplaats or the Groenplaats in the historic center. Please note that online tickets are more convenient, as they can be downloaded to your cell phone via an app, and tickets can no longer be purchased on board.
